rulix calc support

1. Getting started

rulix calc runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 and later. The calculator, local library, CalcDeck, units, scenarios and result inspector work without an account.

Tap a line to inspect it, use CalcDeck to enter numbers and units quickly, or switch to Tape mode to align amounts in columns. Calculations stay editable and the sheet is recalculated as you type.

2. Intelligence and Smart Capture

“Build with Intelligence” requires iOS or iPadOS 26, a device that supports Apple Intelligence, an available system model and a supported language. The request and draft are processed on the device, and you must review and confirm every insertion.

Smart Capture uses Apple’s on-device recognition APIs. If scanning is unavailable, choose manual text entry or paste. Grant camera access only if you want to scan a document.

• Apple Intelligence availability never blocks the standard calculator.
• Recognition and generation can be wrong: always review numbers, units and signs.
• Camera images are not stored or sent to the rulix calc service.

3. Optional account and synchronization

An account is only needed to access and share existing cloud sheets. Sign-in uses an email link: open it on the same device, then return to the app. The link remains valid for 15 minutes.

If a sheet does not synchronize, check your network connection, reopen the app and confirm that the session has not expired. Local calculations remain available if the cloud service is unavailable or after you sign out.

The iOS app contains no in-app purchases, prices or subscription flow. Any web-service billing is separate.

4. Troubleshooting

First close and reopen the app, check available device storage, and install the latest iOS and rulix calc updates. For a recent exchange rate or cloud sheet, also check Internet access.

For an expression issue, create a minimal example without personal information if possible. For camera issues, check Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera. For Apple Intelligence, check its availability in system settings.

• Do not uninstall the app before exporting any local calculations you want to keep.
• A link-shared copy is separate from your local library and cloud sheets.
• Verify results before making any financial, tax, legal or professional decision.

5. Data and account deletion

In the app, open Account and choose “Permanently delete my account.” After confirmation, cloud sheets authored by the account are deleted, sessions are revoked and direct identifiers are anonymized. A shared-team owner may need to transfer ownership first.

Calculations stored only on the device are not removed with the account. Delete them from the library or remove the app after exporting them. Immutable public copies that were already created are not tied to account deletion.

6. Accessibility and feedback

rulix calc supports system features such as VoiceOver, text-size settings and hardware keyboards. If a control is difficult to reach or understand, tell us the path you followed and the accessibility setting in use.
